Jimothy the Raccoon ("the extension") is a purely decorative browser extension that animates a raccoon scampering across the pages you visit. This policy explains what the extension does and does not do with your information. The short version: the extension collects nothing, transmits nothing, and tracks nothing.

Information we collect

None. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, page content, URLs, analytics, or telemetry of any kind. There are no servers, no third-party services, and no network requests made by the extension.

Local settings

The extension stores a single on/off preference (whether Jimothy is enabled) using the browser's built-in storage API. This value never leaves your browser except through your browser's own account-sync feature, if you have that enabled — in which case your browser (not this extension) syncs the on/off flag across your signed-in devices. The extension itself sends this value to no one.

Permissions and why they are needed

• Access to all websites (<all_urls>) — required only to draw the animated raccoon overlay on the pages you visit. The extension reads no page content and modifies nothing on the page except to add its own decorative element.
• Storage — required only to remember your on/off preference, as described above.

Data sharing and sale

Because the extension collects no data, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose. We do not share or sell any information to third parties.

Children's privacy

The extension collects no information from anyone, including children.
